This privacy policy applies to the Feierabend Apps website. Each app has its own privacy policy on its app page.

2. The short version

  • This website does not set cookies.
  • There are no analytics tools, trackers, ads or social media plugins.
  • Fonts, scripts and graphics are served from this server. No content is loaded from third-party servers when you visit.
  • The only thing stored in your browser is your choice between light and dark mode.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and delivered through its network. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data:

  • the IP address of the requesting device,
  • date and time of the request,
  • the requested address (URL) and the amount of data transferred,
  • the referrer URL (the previous page, if sent),
  • browser type and operating system (user agent) and the HTTP status code.

This data is needed to deliver the website, keep it stable and secure, and fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of the website. I do not analyse this data to identify individual visitors or to build profiles.

Cloudflare processes the data on my behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Data may be transferred to the USA in the process. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR); in addition, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses apply (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR). 4. Contact by email

If you write to hallo@feierabendapps.app or to an app's support address (for example from within the app), your message is forwarded to my personal mailbox via Cloudflare Email Routing. I process your email address, your name (if given) and the content of your message in order to answer your request.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or steps prior to entering into one, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering requests). I delete the message once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Contact form

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, message and the page language are sent to a function on this website (at Cloudflare). It forwards the content as an email to my mailbox, as described in section 4. The website itself does not store the form data permanently. Your IP address is processed briefly to prevent abuse and mass submissions.

I need the required fields to be able to reply to you. Legal bases and retention as in section 4.

6. Storage in your browser

If you use the light switch at the top right, the website stores your choice (light or dark) in your browser's local storage (localStorage, key fa-theme). The value never leaves your device and is not sent to me. Storing it is strictly necessary for this function you requested (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete the entry at any time in your browser settings.

7. Links to the App Store

The app pages link to Apple's App Store. Data is only transferred to Apple once you follow such a link. Apple's privacy policy applies to that.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you may object to it on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). A short message to hallo@feierabendapps.app is enough.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for me is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

9. No automated decisions

There is no automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

10. Changes

I update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
